Yaskawa Servo-Amp and Single-Axis Controller

Yaskawa recently announced a new addition to its Sigma-7 line. The Sigma-7Siec is a servo-amplifier and single-axis controller aimed at applications requiring fast and precise control of one servomotor. Yaskawa have also been able to reduce the size from their earlier MP2600iec/Sigma-7 amp-controller making the Sigma-7Siec ideal for more compact cabinets. Read more...

Important information regarding obsolete Omron and Yaskawa Sigma 2 servo drives and motors

Following the successful introduction of new products, Yaskawa has scaled down the manufacturing of the old design Sigma 2 servo motors and drives which was sold as Omron and Yaskawa brands. The Sigma 2 range will continue to be supported for at least 8 years but manufacturing batch runs will be infrequent and stocks will not generally be held. The lead times and prices on these products have already significantly increased as demand has declined in favour of Yaskawa’s  Sigma 5 and the all new Sigma 7 products. Read more...
