The last few days has seen Covid-19 firmly take hold in the UK. So we wanted to give you all an update about what is happening at Goodwin Electronics and our plans going forward.
Firstly we want to reassure all customers that we are still fully open for business and do not have any plans to cease operations. All quotes, orders and deliveries are being processed as normal.
Following the UK Government’s advice the majority of our staff are now working from home. A small team is still in the office to process orders and deliveries although we are ensuring they are keeping good distancing and hygiene standards at all times. Due to the lack of staff in the office we ask that (when appropriate) you contact us via email rather than phone and we will call you back.
We are being advised by a number of our suppliers to expect slowdowns in supply delivery times for stock coming outside of Europe. We are also in contact with our couriers which are currently saying that deliveries within the UK are unaffected. Even so we recommend that all customers evaluate any upcoming requirements and place call off orders asap so we can ensure an unimpeded delivery.
