X-Range - Inverter Drives Mounted in Cabinets
Standard off-the-shelf variable speed inverters are usually only rated at IP20 and need to be built into an enclosure before they can be used in most environments. We have developed a range of enclosures with inverters pre-installed in them along with other necessities such as cooling fans. We also offer a selection of optional extras such as stainless steel enclosures, Emergency Stop Relays, Remote Keypads, and Remote Control options.
Most variable speed drive failures can be attributed to poor installation practices. While most manufacturers guide users through the keypad operation to ensure nothing is forgotten in the setup, outside factors are the most common causes of failures.
These include:-
- Unsuitable location/environment
- Incorrect cable types and/or wiring
- Interference caused by cable routing near other electrical equipment
- Temperature control
- Improper grounding/earthing
